You really can’t talk about Busan night views without Gwangalli. Gwangan Bridge is one of Busan’s signature sights, and it feels even more dramatic after dark than it does during the day. Even Busan’s official tourism materials describe it as a landmark that truly comes alive at night.
The view from the center of the beach is beautiful, but personally, I recommend slowly walking from Gwangalli toward Millak. As you move along the shoreline, you get not only Gwangan Bridge but also the high-rises of Marine City in the same frame. 02 Suyeonggang Human Bridge
The first new Busan night views spot I’d add to any 2026 itinerary
This is the place I most wanted to highlight in this post. The Suyeonggang Human Bridge was completed in February 2026 and officially opened to the public in March as Busan’s newest pedestrian bridge.At about 254 meters long, it connects the residential side of Suyeong-gu with the APEC Naru Park and Busan Cinema Center side of Haeundae-gu, creating a new walking route from Gwangalli to Centum. The City of Busan developed it as part of its pedestrian-focused “15-minute city” project and designated the entire route as the city’s first pedestrian-only walkway.
What I love most is that this isn’t a bridge for cars—it’s a space made for people on foot. Bicycles and personal mobility devices like electric scooters are restricted, so you cross it with nothing but your own two feet. After dark, the lights of Centum City shimmer across the Suyeong River, and the urban skyline from the bridge gives you a completely different side of Busan night views from what you get in Gwangalli.

If I had to pick just one panoramic spot for Busan night views, I’d choose Hwangnyeongsan. In Gwangalli, you see Gwangan Bridge up close. From Hwangnyeongsan, you get the bigger picture: Gwangan Bridge, Haeundae, Seomyeon, Nam-gu, and so much of the city spread out below you. If you’re looking for a scene that feels distinctly Busan near Busan Station, Choryang Ibagu-gil is a great pick. The 168 Stairs were once an everyday route connecting the lower neighborhood with the hillside village above, and they still tell the story of Busan’s historic hillside roads. Because of that, this spot works better as more than just a quick photo stop—you’ll get more out of it if you walk the alleys during the day and stay for the evening view at the end. Official Busan tourism guides also feature Choryang Ibagu-gil and the 168 Stairs as part of a classic hillside-road course.

From Daecheong Sky Observatory, you can look out over Busan Port, Yeongdo, and the old city center from the hillside roads of Jung-gu. Best of all, according to official tourism information, it’s open 24 hours,so you don’t have to stress as much about missing the right time for Busan night views.

10 Geumbitnoul Bridge
This place deserves more than a simple “night view spot” label. Geumbitnoul Bridge is a pedestrian bridge connecting Gupo and Hwamyeong Ecological Park, and it’s one of the best places to watch the sunset over the Nakdong River. The wide river scenery feels completely different from a seaside sunset.
The best way to do this spot is not to show up after it’s already dark, but to arrive about 30–40 minutes before sunset.Stay from the moment the sky turns orange through the time the bridge lights come on and start reflecting across the river.

Quick note: why isn’t the new 2026 Cheonmasan Complex Observatory included? I looked into the Cheonmasan Complex Observatory, which had a soft opening in June 2026. Since it’s close to Gamcheon Culture Village and offers elevated views over Busan’s old downtown, it definitely has the potential to become a standout spot. The reason it’s not included here is that its temporary opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM (closed Sundays, Mondays, and public holidays), so it doesn’t really fit a practical “best Busan night views” list for places you can actually visit at night. That’s why I included Daecheong Sky Observatory instead, since it’s open 24 hours and is more useful for real evening planning.
