Yeonondam Gwangalli Beach Review: Private Stay Near Gwangalli Beach, Busan, South Korea

YEONONDAM GWANGALLI BEACH

A place to stay in Gwangalli, Busan, South Korea

Yeonondam Gwangalli Beach

Here’s a look at a private stay designed around how you like to travel

Once you decide on a trip to Gwangalli, one question always lingers in the end:

Where should you stay?

But sometimes, a stay isn’t just a place to sleep.

It’s the moment you come back from a walk by the sea and warm up in hot water,

the time spent sitting face-to-face, talking about everything that happened that day,

the quiet way a day winds down while you watch a movie without saying much,

and even the next morning, when you open the day slowly from a seat by the window.

Some of the moments that stay with you longest from a trip are made inside the place you stay, more often than you’d think.

Yeonondam Gwangalli Beach was created with exactly those moments in mind.

To us, a great stay isn’t just a place packed with amenities.

It’s a place where the people you came with naturally gather,

where everyone can rest in their own way,

and where one good day lingers in your mind long after you’ve gone home.

A private stay near Gwangalli Beach, made for staying your way.

Let me show you around Yeonondam Gwangalli Beach, one space at a time.

Meet Yeonondam in video first

Photos are great, but this time we wanted to capture the mood and flow of the space more naturally through video.

From the living room and powder area to the café room and kitchen, the bedrooms and Jacuzzi, and even the third-floor cinema room, you can get a feel for how each space connects and what kind of travel moments it suits best.

A place to stay your way, talk together, and make memories.

This is Yeonondam Gwangalli Beach in Busan, South Korea.

SPACE OVERVIEW

Layout of Yeonondam Gwangalli Beach

Yeonondam Gwangalli Beach is a duplex stay spread across the second and third floors.

2nd floor

2 bedrooms · 2 bathrooms · kitchen · café room · Jacuzzi · living room & powder area · photo zone

3rd floor

A cozy cinema room for movie nights

1st floor

Luggage storage available before check-in and after check-out

When you’re traveling with a group, it’s hard to stay in the exact same spot all day.

So the space was divided with that in mind: one person can relax by the window, another can sip coffee in the dining room, someone else can unwind in the Jacuzzi, and another can watch a movie quietly in the cinema room.

It’s a place where you can travel together while still keeping your own pace, then naturally come back together when you want to.

That’s what a comfortable stay looks like to us at Yeonondam.

01
A slow morning that starts by the window
GWANGALLI PRIVATE STAY WINDOW SEAT

The morning after you arrive,
there’s a special kind of relief in realizing you can wake up without an alarm.

The window seatis the perfect spot for that kind of morning. Sunlight stretches in through the large window, and once you sit on the wooden bench with a cup of coffee, it suddenly feels completely fine not to rush out the door.

In Gwangalli, you don’t have to run straight to the beach first thing. You can talk about where to go that day, or sit quietly on your own while everyone else is still asleep.

I hope mornings at Yeonondam begin a little more slowly from this window seat.

Time to let the day melt away in warm water
PRIVATE JACUZZI

A Busan trip usually involves more walking than you expect.

You stroll along Gwangalli Beach,
hop between cafés tucked into side streets,
and by the time you’ve taken in the night view of Gwangan Bridge, your legs definitely feel it.

That’s why nights back at Yeonondam are made for slowing down. The Jacuzzi here isn’t trying to imitate some over-the-top spa experience. It’s simply a warm, comfortable place for the people you came with to relax and let go.

Dim the lights,
put on your favorite music softly,
and sink into the warm water.

Sometimes the memories that last longest from a trip aren’t the famous landmarks, but quiet nights like this.

03
A night in your own cinema room
CINEMA ROOM

Head upstairs to the third floor,
and you’ll find a cinema room with a completely different mood.

After a full day of walking, eating, and exploring, this is where the night really winds down. Lower the lights, turn on the big screen, and put on a movie or your favorite OTT streaming showwhile snacking on convenience store treats and drinks. For that moment, the stay becomes your own little private theater.

Honestly, what lasts longer than the movie title itself might be the feeling of laughing at the same scene together, then falling quiet together too.
Outside is Gwangalli. Inside is Yeonondam.
Some nights are so good, you don’t even want to go back out.

04
Bedrooms designed for truly restful sleep
BEDROOM 1 · 2

No matter how great a trip is, if you don’t sleep well, the next day gets rough. That’s why the bedrooms here focus less on over-styling and more on real comfort.

At Yeonondam Gwangalli Beach, there are 3 queen beds and 1 sofa bedready for you. It works well for couples, friend trips, family travel with kids, and group stays in Busan where everyone needs a comfortable sleeping setup.

Even when you travel together, everyone falls asleep at a different time. We wanted this to be a place where early sleepers and late-night talkers could both move at their own pace.

05
A space to gather and get ready with ease
LIVING & POWDER

When you travel with a group, getting ready to head out can be surprisingly busy.

You help each other pick outfits, check photos in the mirror, and go over the day’s plans one more time. Before you even leave, the travel mood has already started. The living room and powder area were designed to make those moments feel easier and more comfortable.

In the living room, you can gather and relax together, and in the powder area, you can freshen up before heading outwith a little more space and ease.
When you want to be together, head to the living room.
When you want a moment to get ready on your own, use the powder area.
It’s a space where coming together and spreading out both feel natural.

· · ·06
A dining space that feels like a café
CAFE & DINING

The dining room isn’t just a table where you eat and leave. It was set up as a place where you can linger, almost like a café.

In the morning, it’s for a cup of coffee.
In the afternoon, it’s perfect for takeout from Gwangalli’s local favorite restaurants.
At night, it becomes a place for simple snacks and long conversations.

The scene on the table changes throughout the day, but one thing stays the same: once everyone sits down together, the conversation tends to last longer. Just like how the best meal on a trip isn’t always the one at the most famous restaurant.

A menu you picked together,
the people gathered around one table,
and a conversation that lasts much longer than planned.
I hope the dining room at Yeonondam becomes a place that holds exactly those kinds of moments.

07
Time to laugh together and grow closer
BOARD GAME

The reason we keep board gameshere is simple: travel always creates those in-between moments you didn’t plan for.

Maybe dinner plans are over, but it’s still too early to sleep. If everyone just looks at their phones, the group can drift apart fast. But once you open up a game on the table, the whole mood changes.

You bicker while explaining the rules,
suddenly get weirdly competitive because you really want to win,
and then end up laughing together over something completely small.

It’s not some huge event, but nights like that often end up being the most memorable.

It fits just as well for a friend trip, a family trip with kids, or a rainy day when you end up staying in.

08
A kitchen designed with longer stays in mind
KITCHEN & LAUNDRY

The kitchen might not be the first thing that catches your eye in photos, but once you settle in, it often becomes one of the most useful spaces.

At Yeonondam Gwangalli Beach, you’ll find a washer and dryer, a large refrigerator, a microwave, and tablewareready to use.

It makes it easy to dry clothes after the beach, wash what you’ve worn over a few days, or store takeout food, so even a longer stay feels comfortable. These everyday conveniences are especially helpful for family trips with kids or group travel.

It’s a space prepared with the hope that your stay feels a little easier in all the small ways

09
A small space for moments you’ll want to remember
PHOTO & SELFIE ZONE

By the entrance, there’s a selfie zone set up for easy travel photos.

Stop by when you’ve just arrived,
right before everyone heads out,
or anytime you want to capture the mood of the trip.

Stand in front of the mirror and the vibe of the day naturally comes through. You don’t need to ask anyone else for help— it’s a small, easy space where you and your group can take photos comfortablyand keep the moment.

Rather than being just a pretty backdrop, I hope this stay becomes part of the memory itself—something that makes you flip through your photos later and think, “Busan was so good that day.”

10
Making the beginning and end of your trip a little lighter
LUGGAGE STORAGE · 1F

At the beginning and end of a trip, luggage has a way of slowing everything down.

Maybe check-in is in the afternoon but you arrive in the morning, or you’ve checked out but your train isn’t until evening. Sometimes one suitcase is all it takes to make the last part of the day inconvenient.

Yeonondam Gwangalli Beach has a luggage storage space on the first floorso you can drop your bags before check-in and explore Gwangalli Beach more freely, or leave them after check-out and enjoy one last café or meal nearby. It’s a small convenience, but one that makes the start and end of your trip feel much easier. Instructions for using luggage storage will be sent by message once your reservation is confirmed.

Yeonondam Gwangalli Beach

is especially well suited for trips like these:

a family trip where you want to spend more time together in one space,

a friend getaway filled with late-night laughter and long conversations,

a couple’s trip where you can slow down and talk near the sea,

or a group trip where everyone relaxes, has fun, and grows a little closer.

If you’re looking for more than a place to just sleep and leave,

if you’re hoping for time spent sitting together and talking,

time to let the day go in warm water,

a slow night wrapped up with a movie,

and a next morning that begins gently by the window,

then Yeonondam Gwangalli Beach will probably be a great fit.

It doesn’t have to be for a special occasion.

If it’s simply a day with people you haven’t seen in a while,

and a chance to listen a little more closely to each other’s stories,

that alone can be enough to make a trip feel meaningful.

The mood of a day spent together,

the conversations and rest that fill it,

and one memory you’ll come back to later.

Yeonondam Gwangalli Beach

was prepared for exactly that kind of day.

If this is a trip you worked hard to make happen in the middle of a busy schedule,

then while you’re here, try giving a little more of your attention to the people you came with.

Rest comfortably,

talk slowly,

and let the time naturally bring you closer.

Yeonondam will do its part to make that day feel warm.

Near Gwangalli,

if that sounds like the kind of day you want,

stay a little slower at Yeonondam.
